Ethics Advocate Training

OCAR has adopted C.A.R.’s Ethics Advocate (“EA”) program—a subcommittee of the Professional Standards Committee, comprised of REALTORS® who are specially trained to represent parties during the disciplinary process. This course will prepare you for the role of an EA, which may include helping a party prepare forms and assemble evidence. You’ll be trained on making opening and closing statements on behalf of the party represented, examining and cross-examining witnesses, introducing affidavits, documents and other relevant evidence, and representation at any review hearings, but does not include testifying as a witness.
