The Affordable Housing Clearinghouse is a network of lenders, community groups, and public agencies dedicated to the creation of quality affordable housing. The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is a national professional trade organization dedicated to closing the homeownership gap facing the Asian Pacific American (APA) community by advocating for policy positions at the national level that will reduce homeownership barriers facing the Asian Pacific American community, and increasing business opportunities for mortgage and real estate professionals serving this community. www.areaa.org
Building Industry Association-Orange County is a non-profit trade association representing more than 970 companies employing over 114,000 people affiliated with the home building industry. BIA-OC’s Mission is to champion housing as a core component of viable communities. www.biaoc.com
Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is dedicated to ending substandard housing and building strong communities in Orange County. They partner with local businesses, community organizations, faith communities, cities and volunteers to build simple decent homes which are sold to qualified families for closing costs, 1% down payment, and a long-term mortgage. www.habitatoc.org
Jamboree Housing Corporation strengthens California communities by creating opportunities for lower-income families, seniors, and those with special needs to access housing that is affordable, resident services that are responsive, and programs essential to improving the quality of their lives. www.jamboreehousing.com
League of California Cities, Orange County Division's mission is to serve and represent its members by providing education, information, legislative and advocacy services. The Division acts as an information clearing house for current issues through its website, publications, regular meetings, committee work and partnerships with other agencies. www.occities.org
NAACP of Orange County's mission is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. Orange County Housing Providers is a clearinghouse for communication, ideas and candidate assessments with the purpose of providing a range of housing opportunities and to support member organizations when issues arise affecting the housing industry. www.mhet.com/ochp
The Orange County Housing Trust’s mission is to finance workforce and affordable housing options for very low to moderate-income individuals and families and special needs populations in Orange County. They aim to achieve their mission by providing low interest second mortgages to qualified first time homebuyers and down payment assistance grants to members of the Orange County workforce, who wish to move closer to their place of employment. Orange County Public Affairs Association is an organization that aims to foster
